Naomi Halterman is a Parenting Coach and Educator who has 3 certifications in the globally accredited and evidence-based Teaching Family Model. Naomi has served 100s of high-risk families and youth involved in JJS, Juvenile Probation, DCFS, and various other circumstances. Families served have had struggles related to poverty and wealth, abuse, criminal activity, gang membership, depression, anxiety, suicide ideation and self harm, and diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Borderline and Bipolar, and Oppositional Defiance Disorder (to name a few). Some of her jobs include an in-home Behavioral Specialist, Director of Training, People Operations Director, and Campus LIFE Coordinator. She has worked in one of Utah's most respected non-profit agencies, Utah Youth Village, and a leader in residential treatment, Alpine Academy. She has worked in the space for 12 years. Naomi has a B.S. in Family Studies from BYU, and a M.S. in Learning Experience Design and Education Technology from WGU. She is expert in Adult Learning Theory, Social Learning Theory, and behavior modification. Her passions include teaching, skill development, and the family. She is an advocate for all things and people who are misunderstood (including Pitbulls and Great Whites). Naomi is a dog lover, master scuba diver, loves hiking, paintball, RZR riding, boating, jet skiing, and all things exploratory. Most recently, Naomi is raising two toddlers with her husband, Cody, in Northern Utah where they are teaching their little ones to work hard, play hard, and love with all their heart.
